Screen Australia and ABC Television just announced that ‘Queen of the Desert’ has been selected to be part of ABC2’s new prime time Opening Shot series.
‘Queen of the Desert’ is a half an hour documentary following the one and only Starlady who is not your ordingary youth worker. With fabulous hair and outrageous outfits Starlady is training young indigenous people in remote centaral Australia in the art of hairdressing.
