Synopsis
In many parts of the world village poultry provides a valuable income as well as much needed protein. But a ‘flu like’ disease known as Newcastle Disease exists in much of the developing world and can quickly wipe out entire flocks within a matter of days.
As a response to this problem Australian Aid developed a vaccine and provided it free of charge to many countries. We follow Dr Robyn Alders and meet some of the people whose lives have been changed by this program in Tanzania.
