360 Degree Films is excited to announce that Seed Hunter has been selected as one of five programs worldwide in the Environment Category that will be competing for the famous Rockie Award at the 2009 Banff World Television Awards.
Produced and Directed by Melbourne based filmmaker Sally Ingleton, Seed Hunter (a 52 minute documentary) follows Australian scientist Dr Ken Street on a quest to find ancient seeds whose genes may help save our food from the impact of climate change. Seed Hunter is striking a chord with audiences’ worldwide. Since it’s release six months ago Seed Hunter has received numerous awards at festivals across the globe.
The Banff World Television Awards have long been recognized as one of the most prestigious awards in the industry. Producer and Director Sally is looking forward to representing Australia at the Festival, which takes place June 7-10 in Canada.
