On March 17th we held a cast and Crew Screening of INDIAN WEDDING RACE at the Loop Bar. It was great night and friends of our two cast members Dalvinder and Tarun had the opportunity to see the finished result.
Also in development is OLDEST RIVER IN THE WORLD and Sally went to Central Australia in March to do some time critical filming of scientific surveys of the Finke River.
In development is THE MARKET with support from Film Victoria. We are gradually finding our cast of colourful characters at Melbourne’s most multicultural workplace. Big changes are afoot at the city’s beloved Queen Vic Market and our team of Naomi Elkin Jones and Georgina Savage are following what promises to be a David and Goliath story.
360 Degree Films welcomes Georgina Savage to our production team. Georgie started in early February and has been a terrific asset to the company helping out with the development and research of our current slate.
Thanks to the assistance of Film Victoria’s Business Travel program Sally attended the World Congress of Science and Factual Producer’s in Vienna in early December, where she had the opportunity to moderate a panel session featuring the teams from two international ground-breaking natural history series BIG BLUE LIVE and YOUR INNER FISH.
Whilst in Europe Sally was also able to attend targeted business meetings in London.
We look forward to those meetings bearing fruit in 2016 and will keep you posted.
In November Sally Ingleton travelled to Vietnam to produce some short web videos for ACIAR and the Crawford Fund, featuring women’s development projects. These videos will be edited in December/January ready for International Women’s Day 2016.
Indian Wedding Race has now been delivered to SBS and a big thank you to the creative team of Director Sean Cousins, Editors Tony Stevens and Alex Archer, Edit assistants Alan Bennett and Nick Scott, Composer Dale Cornelius, Sound Designer Tristan Meredith and Production Manager Andrea Foxworthy.
As usual we were superbly looked after in post by Haley Gillies from DDP Studios.
We look forward to the broadcast in 2016.

THE GREAT AUSTRALIAN FLY has been nominated for the Best Science Journalism Award in the 2015 Australian Museum’s Eureka Prizes.
